Hello! My name is Adam Harris. I am a United States Public Health Commissioned Corps Officer working as a Program Coordinator at the Alaska Native Medical Center. I oversee accreditation and regulatory compliance for the campus as well as leading performance improvement initiatives. My clinical background is in pharmacy. I was the 2009-2010 General Pharmacy Practice Resident at the Alaska Native Medical Center. After completing the residency, I stayed on board as a Clinical Pharmacist. In 2012, I pursued a nontraditional role as a Clinical Quality Analyst in the Hospital Quality Department. I remain in that department today with continually evolving responsibilities and duties.
I am actively involved in both local and national professional and officer associations. I have a passion for improved performance, optimized quality, and efficiency. If I’m not at work, you’ll have a difficult time finding me in Alaska’s wilderness (unless it’s my on call deployment month).
